Following the warm response to our previous Calming Workshop, we are delighted to announce that the next session will take place on 18 July, from 2pm to 4pm, at Grappenhall Youth & Community Centre. With only 7 spaces remaining, this event is set to be another deeply restorative afternoon designed to help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
A Gentle Afternoon Designed for Deep Calm
The Lotus Bay Calming Workshop offers a peaceful pause from the constant pace of everyday life. Over two soothing hours, you will be guided through a nurturing blend of grounding practices created to help you unwind both physically and emotionally.
The session is intentionally slow and spacious, giving you time to soften, release tension, and settle into a sense of inner stillness. Whether you are new to holistic practices or simply craving a moment of calm, this workshop provides a safe, supportive environment to reset.
What to Expect During the Workshop
Grounding Practices
You will be guided through gentle techniques designed to bring your awareness back into the body, helping you feel centred and present.
Reiki‑Inspired Relaxation
A calming Reiki‑based experience encourages deep rest, emotional release, and energetic balance. Many attendees describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded afterwards.
Quiet Reflection Time
After the main practice, you will have time to journal, reflect, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with nourishing refreshments.
Closing Circle
The afternoon ends with a supportive group circle, allowing you to leave feeling connected, grounded, and held by the shared energy of the session.
