Reiki Level 1 Training – Your First Step into Reiki
Our next Reiki Level 1 course takes place on:
Saturday 12th September 10:00am – 5:00pm Thrive Wellness Hub, Sale, Cheshire
This one‑day course is designed for complete beginners as well as those who have experienced Reiki and wish to learn how to use it confidently for themselves and others. Many students join us to support their own wellbeing, while others begin their journey towards becoming a practitioner.
Course Fees
- £150 per person
- £50 deposit secures your place
- Minimum 4 students, maximum 12 students

What You Will Learn
Reiki Level 1 focuses on personal practice, self‑healing and understanding how Reiki energy works. The day is highly practical, with plenty of time for hands‑on experience, guided exercises and giving and receiving Reiki treatments.
You will learn:
- History and lineage of Reiki, where Reiki originates and how it has been passed down
- Reiki attunement, your initiation into working with Reiki energy
- Reiki principles and precepts, the foundations of Reiki philosophy
- The 21‑day clearing process, what to expect after your attunement
- Experiencing and working with energy, sensing, understanding and trusting energetic flow
- Setting intentions, how intention shapes your Reiki practice
- Self‑treatments, techniques for daily self‑care
- Treating others safely and effectively, giving a full treatment with confidence
- Hand positions and their benefits, structure and purpose of a Reiki session
- Reiki quick treatments, short, effective techniques for everyday use
- Energy scanning (Byosen), identifying areas of energetic imbalance
- What to expect when giving and receiving Reiki, understanding sensations, responses and outcomes
A comprehensive Reiki Level 1 manual is included, covering everything taught on the day and additional guidance to support your ongoing practice.
