The Calming Workshop, held on Saturday 16 May 2026 at Grappenhall Youth & Community Association, sold out quickly, and for good reason. This 90‑minute experience was created as a gentle pause from the noise of everyday life, offering space to unwind, soften and reconnect with yourself.
Designed as a slow, nurturing session, the workshop guided attendees through a calming blend of grounding practices. The intention was simple: to give people time away from the constant pace of work, family and daily responsibilities, and to offer a moment of genuine rest.
After the main practice, guests enjoyed nourishing snacks and quiet time to reflect, journal or connect with others. The afternoon closed with a supportive circle, leaving everyone grounded, centred and held by the group energy.
A Warm Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Us
The response to this event was incredibly positive, and we are grateful to everyone who attended and shared their experience. Feedback like the one below captures the depth of connection many felt during the session:
“Thank you so much for this afternoon’s wonderful Reiki session. I’ve never felt anything so powerful and when you first introduced yourself I felt pins and needles all down my legs which I’ve never felt before. I picked the amethyst crystal from the bag which is my birth stone so I was impressed that it was the one I was drawn to. Really had a wonderful and very special time and thoroughly felt like I was meant to be in that room this afternoon. Thank you again. Anna”
Comments like these reflect exactly why these workshops exist, to create meaningful, restorative experiences that help people feel lighter, calmer and more connected to themselves.
